Having established ourselves since November 2010 as possibly the most exciting and vibrant Friday night music venue in the area, with the emphasis very firmly on filling the dance floor with our stylish mix of ska, soul, reggae and funk, augmented by out of the ordinary covers bands, we will be breaking new ground in early 2012 with an ambitious move into acoustic and roots music, in association with rapidly rising local musical promotions and events company Richie Evans Music
Promoter Richie Evans of Richie Evans Music will be working in partnership with the technical expertise of Aaron Aldred of Field Systems in bringing to you some of the finest Acoustic and Roots musicians currently operating within the UK, with firmly established international reputations, both as recording and live artistes. Both Richie and Aaron have a lengthy and experienced background,as performers, promoters and sound and lighting engineers within many genres of music, but in particular in the area of Acoustic and Roots music.
On selected Sunday evenings throughout 2012 and beyond, we shall transform the Grapevine from its usual bustling self into an intimate 120 seated/180 standing venue whereupon fans of the featured performers can enjoy an extremely high-quality evening of music in an atmosphere and surroundings which will make each and every event memorable for all taking part.
